While surfing on the net last year, I came across a site,

Beautifully designed with special poems that made my day so bright.

The poems were all so wonderful; they were written from the heart.

I felt a special camaraderie with the poet right from the start.

I knew she had to be “special” for the words she wrote were so sweet.

If you’ve never visited her wonderful site, you are missing a special treat.

You can almost feel the warmth and glow of the words that flow from her pen.

You get a glimpse of her heart and soul for she expresses it from within.

My talent for writing was nothing like hers, but my poems came from my heart.

I wanted to share my faith in Christ and through poems I could do my part.

I sat down one day and wrote her a note and asked if she’d help me out,

She graciously agreed to work with me; I was so happy I wanted to shout.

I know not a thing about web work, such as backgrounds, graphics and codes.

But she is so understanding and kind, and she has the patience of Job.

She created for me a beautiful site, and she does all those computer things.

I tell her she’s one of God’s angels since at times I sense angel wings.

I have yet to meet her in person, and I have never heard her voice.

But I know when she came into my life that God had made a good choice.

She is kind, considerate and loving, and she is one of my dearest friends.

You don’t have to meet someone in person for a true friendship to begin.

So to you, Ruth Ann, my lovely friend, I thank you for all your help.

I’ve told you a little about my life, and all of my secrets you’ve kept.

Your prayers, your concern, your uplifting words have meant so very much.

Though many miles separate us, my friend, I can still feel your loving touch.

A VERY special "thank you" to Emily, the author and owner of this web site for dedicating this poem to me, her friend and Webmistress. You shall never know how this touched my heart. Thank you for having the faith in me to create your graphics and design.

Love, Ruth Ann
