Friends are those we can count on

When we need a helping hand

Friends are the ones who console us

When things don’t go as planned.

When we feel we can’t face tomorrow

Our friends are always there

To share a smile, a hug, a word

To show us that they care.

Without friends, we’d feel so lonely

Our days wouldn’t be as bright

Cause when we need a shoulder to cry on

Friends are there whether day or night.

Our friends will share our secrets

Our hopes, our dreams, our fears

And if we’re blessed with true friends

They’re with us throughout all our years.

They give us advice when we ask it

They tell us they’ll always be there

To offer us their love and support

And our burdens they’ll help us bear.

Could friends possibly be God’s angels?

Sent to minister us when in need

Just knowing how special our friends are

I’m sure they’re from God, yes indeed.
